About messaging

Nervecentre Messaging allows you to communicate with your colleagues in individual messages, which work like emails, and in chat rooms. You can link messages and chat room threads to patients, providing contextual links to relevant patients and patient events. You can also tell Nervecentre to send you a message whenever someone records specific patient activities, for example, a patient admission.

Using messages and chat rooms in Nervecentre provides you with an additional layer of security compared to some third-party applications. You can’t send information to or from other applications with Nervecentre Messaging. All your digital communications about patients are safely stored in Nervecentre, and are fully auditable.
