EPMA for outpatients

EPMA for outpatients allows you to prescribe and administer medications for outpatients. You can only do this on a desktop. You can’t add arrival medications like you do with inpatients.

You must select the correct appointment to prescribe, administer, or remove a medication, or to request a medication be dispensed.

About EPMA

To access EPMA:

• On a desktop, open EPMA from  Outpatients > Clinic List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail > Meds.

• You can't access EPMA for outpatients on a mobile.
