On the outpatient prescription list, you can view the status of requests to dispense medications.

Viewing the status of dispensing on a mobile

You can't do this on a mobile.

Viewing the status of dispensing on a desktop

From  Outpatients > Clinic List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail > Meds, you can view the outpatient prescription list. Medications on outpatient prescription list can have the following statuses.

Not dispensed

The medication has been prescribed but not dispensed.

Dispense in hospital only

You can ask the hospital pharmacy to dispense the medication, or you can print the outpatient prescription list.

Dispense in community only

You can ask the community pharmacy to dispense the medication by EPS, or you can print the outpatient prescription list.

Hospital Pharmacy – Ordered

The medication order has been sent to the hospital pharmacy and is waiting for the pharmacist’s approval.

Hospital Pharmacy – Approved

The pharmacist has approved the medication.

Hospital Pharmacy – Dispensed

The pharmacy has printed the dispensation sheet.

Hospital Pharmacy – Ready for collection

The medication is ready for the patient to collect from the hospital pharmacy.

Hospital Pharmacy – Collected

The patient has collected the medication from the hospital pharmacy.

FP10 - FP10 Printed

A prescription form, or FP10, has been printed.

EPS - Sent To EPS

The prescription has been sent to the community pharmacy.
