Viewing the status of dispensing
On the outpatient prescription list, you can view the status of requests to dispense medications.
Viewing the status of dispensing on a mobile
You can't do this on a mobile.
Viewing the status of dispensing on a desktop
From Outpatients > Clinic List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail > Meds, you can view the outpatient prescription list. Medications on outpatient prescription list can have the following statuses.
Not dispensed |
The medication has been prescribed but not dispensed. |
Dispense in hospital only |
You can ask the hospital pharmacy to dispense the medication, or you can print the outpatient prescription list. |
Dispense in community only |
You can ask the community pharmacy to dispense the medication by EPS, or you can print the outpatient prescription list. |
Hospital Pharmacy – Ordered |
The medication order has been sent to the hospital pharmacy and is waiting for the pharmacist’s approval. |
Hospital Pharmacy – Approved |
The pharmacist has approved the medication. |
Hospital Pharmacy – Dispensed |
The pharmacy has printed the dispensation sheet. |
Hospital Pharmacy – Ready for collection |
The medication is ready for the patient to collect from the hospital pharmacy. |
Hospital Pharmacy – Collected |
The patient has collected the medication from the hospital pharmacy. |
FP10 - FP10 Printed |
A prescription form, or FP10, has been printed. |
EPS - Sent To EPS |
The prescription has been sent to the community pharmacy. |
