Nervecentre V9.0 Help for Users
Sending for the patient
starting a procedure, start procedure
On the day of the procedure, you must send for the patient to start recording information about the procedure. This allows you to:
-
Record information about the procedure
-
Record timings for the procedure
-
Complete WHO World Health Organisation. safety checklists
-
Record the staff involved with the procedure
-
Complete the procedure record
If the patient has an outstanding preadmission when you send for the patient, Nervecentre automatically cancels that preadmission.
Nervecentre allows you to send for a patient after they have been discharged. This means if you didn't complete the documentation while the patient was admitted for their procedure, you can still complete the documentation now.
