Nervecentre V9.0 Help for Users
Recording the staff involved with a procedure
staff record
After you send for a patient, you can record the staff involved with a procedure. To record that a member of staff was involved, you can:
-
Select a member of staff from a list
Nervecentre automatically adds the staff member's registration body and code.
-
Or, enter the staff member's name and their details
Each member of staff involved with a procedure has a specific role during that procedure. Before you can mark the staffing record as complete, Nervecentre checks that any necessary roles have been assigned. For example, each procedure must have one lead surgeon. If a procedure has an anaesthetist involved, then one of the anaesthetists must be the lead anaesthetist.
