Nervecentre V8.1 Help for Users
About discharge and TTOs
In Nervecentre EPMA, TTO To Take Out. Often used to describe the medicines added to the discharge letter, and, informally, the letter itself. refers to the medications added to the discharge summary.
You can create TTO prescriptions. To each TTO, you can add the duration, supply, dispense quantity, GP action, and additional information. TTOs can be modified, stopped, and started. You can also create empty TTOs, for example, to allow for pharmacy review, or to complete later on a mobile.
You can create and send discharge summaries and letters.

TTO medications are medications the patient is given when they are discharged. If the duration of the course of medication is less than 14 days, the patient receives the full course. If the duration is greater than 14 days, the patient receives enough medication for at least 14 days.

About discharge and TTOs on a desktop

During discharge, there are two distinct workflows:
-
TTO medications are added to the discharge form by a prescriber. These TTOs are then checked and approved by pharmacy.
-
The discharge form is primarily completed by the discharging doctor from one or more areas of Nervecentre. The doctor checks this information is correct and complete, and signs to confirm.
These two workflows can be completed independently of each other, or at the same time. When all elements are complete, you can send the signed clinical discharge letter and TTO medications to the GP.
