Viewing and managing UEC attendances
You can view and manage a patient's visits to ED areas 'Emergency department' areas. These areas can be in emergency departments, urgent treatment centres, urgent care centres, and minor injury units. These areas handle acute and non-acute medical emergencies, and they have a four hour target. from Patient Detail > Patient admin > Show pathways > ED. In Nervecentre, 'ED areas' can be in emergency departments, urgent treatment centres, urgent care centres, and minor injury units. These areas handle acute and non-acute medical emergencies, and they have a four hour target.
You can view and manage visits to SDEC Same Day Emergency Care. These areas aim to complete treating patients without a hospital admission or overnight stay. These areas don't have a four hour target. from Patient Detail > Patient admin > Show pathways > Inpatient. Visits to SDEC show 'Assessment' in Visit type.

You can view and manage a patient's visits to ED areas from Patient Detail > Patient admin > Show pathways > ED.
ED attendances |
Shows the patient's current visit to an ED area, and any previous visits to ED areas.

From Inpatients > Patient List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail, select Patient admin.

You can view information about a patient's current or previous visits.

Select next to a visit.

Edit and cancel a visit to an ED area

Add and edit ward stays

Add and edit bed transfers in a ward stay
