Nervecentre V8.1 Help for Users
Editing and cancelling an attendance to UEC
You can edit when a patient was attended and departed from an ED area 'Emergency department' areas. These areas can be in emergency departments, urgent treatment centres, urgent care centres, and minor injury units. These areas handle acute and non-acute medical emergencies, and they have a four hour target. from Patient Detail > Patient admin > Show pathways > ED.
You can edit the area and location the patient attended. You can edit these during or after the patient's attendance. For example, another user entered the incorrect area and location. You add the correct area and location so you can track the patient accurately during their attendance to UEC.
You can cancel a patient's current visit to an ED area. If you cancel a visit, all data against the visit is discarded. You might do this if the wrong patient was admitted and you want to cancel the attendance.
