Observations for outpatients

Nervecentre allows you to record manual observations, and receive observations from third-party monitoring devices. Observations for outpatients works differently to inpatients.

For outpatients, you can:

• View observations in a table

• Record observations on a desktop or mobile

For outpatients, you can't:

• View observation graphs

• Print observation charts and graphs

Observations for outpatients don't have a frequency, due time, or Early Warning Score Early Warning Score. A vital signs recording and scoring system used with adult patients. The scoring system is designed to identify and alert appropriate staff in the case of deteriorating patients.. You don't have observation tasks or escalations for outpatients. Sepsis screening doesn't trigger when you record a set of observations.
