Letters

Sometimes when you complete a form, or a specific workflow, you can send a letter. For example:

  • Discharge summaries

When you complete a discharge summary, you send a letter to the patient's GP.

  • Appointment letters

When you book an appointment, you send a letter to the patient.

You can also send ad-hoc letters and SMS messages. You can enter information into an ad-hoc letter without completing a form.

For each patient, you can view sent letters, and letters that weren't delivered. Depending on your permissions, you can view all the letters with delivery issues from  Back office > Search > Letters. You can fix some of these issues.
