Raising tasks

You can raise tasks.
You can raise clinical tasks, for example, H@N Hospital at Night. A multidisciplinary team of doctors and nurses working collaboratively to manage patient tasks in the out of hours periods. tasks. Raising tasks on a mobile
On a mobile, you can raise tasks from a patient's record, or your task list.

From your patient list, select a patient.

Scroll to Tasks, and select Open.

You can search inpatients or all patients.

Select a patient from the list of returned patients.

Complete all mandatory fields.

Select Create Task.

Raising tasks on a desktop
On a desktop, you can raise tasks from a ward form, or a patient's record.

From a patient's record, you can raise clinical tasks.

From a ward form, you can raise clinical tasks and non-clinical tasks.
You can also schedule tasks for later.

You can raise and submit tasks from a ward form.
If a task has a red priority:

Task coordinators can raise and submit the task.

Users who are not task coordinators can raise the task, but not submit it. Users must speak to a task coordinator to submit the task. The task coordinator has their own form to complete.
To raise a task from a ward form:

Find and open your ward form.
The location of your ward form depends on your organisation.

Complete all mandatory fields.
Mandatory fields are marked .

Select Submit to submit the task, or select Clear to cancel the task.

You can raise clinical tasks from a patient's record.

From Inpatients > Patient List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail, select Clinical.

Select Close to return to Clinical.

On a desktop, you can schedule a task to be sent at a later date and time. You might do this if there is a time critical event, for example, repeating a troponin blood test after a patient has had a potential heart attack.
