Nervecentre V8.1 Help for Users
Expediting referrals
A referrer might ask you to expedite a referral if the patient's clinical condition changed, or the patient needed an earlier appointment.
After a referral is accepted, you can expedite the referral. You can include any notes the referrer gave you when they asked you to expedite the referral.
A clinician reviews the expedited referral and decides whether the patient needs an earlier appointment, or if the patient can wait.
After the review is complete, you can view the clinician's notes and book an earlier appointment if needed. You can then mark the expedited referral as complete.
