Deleting appointments

You can delete appointments that you started to book, or booked in error. You can't delete an appointment in the past.

For example, you might:

  • Start booking an appointment but not complete the booking form

  • Book an appointment but then realise you made an error on the booking form

Deleting an appointment is not the same as cancelling an appointment.

Deleting appointments on a mobile

You can't do this on a mobile.

Deleting appointments on a desktop
  1. Select  Outpatients > Clinic List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail.

    Depending on your permissions, you might need to select Go to patient record.

  2. From Patient Detail > Patient admin > Show pathways > Appts > Booked Future Appointments, select an appointment you started booking or recently booked.

    Appointments you started booking have the status 'Booking in progress'.

    Appointments you recently booked have the status 'Appointment booked'.

  3. Select Delete appointment.
