Changing an appointment's delivery method

An appointment can be face-to-face or remote. This is called the setting of the appointment, or the delivery method.

You can change the delivery method for an appointment.

Depending on your permissions, you can change the delivery method of multiple appointments from  Outpatients > Manage > Appointments.

Changing an appointment's delivery method on a mobile

You can't do this on a mobile.

Changing an appointment's delivery method on a desktop
  1. Select  Outpatients > Clinic List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail.

    Depending on your permissions, you might need to select Go to patient record.

  2. From Patient Detail > Patient admin > Show pathways > Appts > Booked Future Appointments, select an appointment with the status 'Appointment booked'.

  3. Select Change delivery.

  4. Select the delivery method that you want for the appointment.

    For example, face-to-face or telephone.

  5. From Letter options, select an option to change who the letters are sent to.

    To not send the letters, select None.

  6. To preview any letters, select .

  7. Select Change delivery setting and send letters.
