Striking out observations

You can strike out observations. You might strike out a set of observations when you have made a mistake, for example, if you have recorded a set of observations for the incorrect patient. Observations that have been struck out remain on grid charts, but they display Strikeout.

You can't undo this action.

Striking out observations on a mobile

To strike out a set of observations:

1. From your patient list, select a patient, or scan a patient's wristband.

2. From Obs & Assessments, select Obs.

3. Find History and select the observations you want to strike out.

4. Enter a reason for striking out the observation.

5. Select Strikeout.

   Struck out observations appear in the history.

Striking out observations on a desktop

1. From  Inpatients > Patient List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail, select Clinical.

2. Find Observations.

3. Select the date and time the observation was recorded.

4. Enter a reason for striking out the observation.

5. Select Strikeout.
