Obs due and obs overdue indicators
Observations have an automatic due or overdue indicator. When an observation has passed its due or overdue time based upon the EWS Early Warning Score. A vital signs recording and scoring system used with adult patients. The scoring system is designed to identify and alert appropriate staff in the case of deteriorating patients. of the previous submitted observations, a task can be sent to a user.
You can view the observations that are not due yet, due now, and overdue.

You can show obs due times and due or overdue indicators next to each patient's name on your patient list.

View your patient list.

On iOS, select Patients.

On Android, select > Patients.

View a list of options.

On iOS, select Show.

On Android, select and hold a patient's name.

Select Observations Due.
The time a patient's observations are due is shown next to the patient's name.

When observations are not due, the time is shown in a grey box.

When observations are due, the time is shown in a green box.

When observations are overdue, the time is shown in a red box.

The obs due times can be seen at the patient level as part of their record.

From your patient list, select a patient.

From Obs & Assessments, select Obs.

When observations are not due, and the time in grey are shown.

When observations are overdue, and the time in red are shown.

From Inpatients > Patient List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail > Clinical, find Observations.

For observations that are not due
The text Due by is shown. The time the observation is due is shown in blue.

For observations that are due
The text Due Now is shown. The time the observation is due is shown on a green background.

For observations that are overdue
The text Overdue is shown. The time the observation became overdue is shown on an orange background.
