Nervecentre V8.1 Help for Users
Managing obs due and obs overdue tasks
Depending on your permissions, you might be notified when patients on your patient list have observations due or overdue. You can accept or decline the due and overdue tasks you receive.
Due times depend on the observation frequency. Task notifications usually appear shortly before observations are actually due. For example, an EWS Early Warning Score. A vital signs recording and scoring system used with adult patients. The scoring system is designed to identify and alert appropriate staff in the case of deteriorating patients. of 5 might have a frequency of 2 hours, and the obs due alert is triggered after 1 hour 30 minutes, to give you the chance to record the observation by the actual due time.
Overdue observations are observations that have not been completed in an appropriate time period, depending upon their frequency.
