Viewing a patient's medications and allergies from Welsh SMR

Only for Wales.

Depending on your organisation and permissions, you can view a patient's medications and allergies from their Welsh SMR Shared Medicines Record. A national service within Wales. The Welsh SMR stores and shares patients' medication and allergies..

You can't do this on a mobile.

Viewing information from Welsh SMR on a desktop

  1. Open the patient's record.

    • From  Inpatients, select Patient List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail.

    • From  Outpatients, select Clinic List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail.

  2. Select Patient admin.

  3. To view the patient's medications, select View SMR Medication.

  4. To view the patient's allergies, select View SMR Allergies.

  1. From  Inpatients > Patient List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail, select Meds.

  2. Select > Arrived on.

  3. To view the patient's medications, select See Welsh SME Medication Details.

  4. To view the patient's allergies, select See Welsh SMR Allergies Details.
