Pharmacy reporting

If you have access to  Pharmacy > Search, you can view and build reports of a range of information about EPMA across your organisation, which can be useful for audit purposes.

For example, you can build reports showing:

Prescriptions for opioids
Prescriber alerts
Medications prescribed for an unlicensed use
Missed doses
Reconciled medications

You can group rows, and filter the data returned by your search.

Depending on your permissions, you can view information and create reports from  Back office > Search. For example, from the audit log, you can view who has overridden the prescribe form. This event is called Prescribe allergy form override.

Overview of Pharmacy > Search

From  Pharmacy > Search, you can view and build reports of a range of information about EPMA across your organisation, which can be useful for audit purposes.

Search	Select a search parameter. This parameter changes the search criteria available.
	Search criteria. The available search criteria depend on the search parameter you choose. Read more about search criteria
	Select to clear that option.
	Select to search.
	Select to add and remove search criteria. The search criteria available to add depend on the search parameter in Search.
	Select to clear all search criteria.
	Select to export the data returned by your search as an .xslx file.

Search criteria for pharmacy reports

Below is a list of search parameters, and the search criteria available for each of those parameters.

To add search criteria, select +.

You can search for administrations of medications recorded in Nervecentre. Your search returns a table of data.

From	Select the date you want to search from.
To	Select the date you want to search to.
Hospital No	Enter a patient's hospital number A number given to the patient when they are registered at the hospital. A patient might have multiple hospital numbers. to search for medications administered to that patient.
Ward	Select a ward to search for medications administered on that ward.
Username	Select a user to search for medications they administered.

You can search for administrations of medications recorded in Nervecentre. Your search returns a table and a customisable chart.

Hospital No	Enter a patient's hospital number A number given to the patient when they are registered at the hospital. A patient might have multiple hospital numbers. to search for medications administered to that patient.
Ward	Select a ward to search for medications administered on that ward.
Username	Select a user to search for medications they administered.
Admin Chart	Select a chart. You can view administrations of medications by day of the week, date, month, hour, or ward.
Admin Group	Select a group. You can view: If medications were administered early, on time, or late If the patient was scanned when the medication was administered If the medication box was scanned when the medication was administered, and if it wasn't scanned, what reason was given for not scanning it. The number of medications that users administered on a mobile device.

You can search for actions performed in the pharmacy. Your search returns a table of data.

Username	Select a user to search for that user's actions.

You can search for medicine orders. Your search returns a table of data.

Username	Select a user to search for medicine orders that user placed.

You can search for information about TTO prescriptions. Your search returns a table and a customisable chart.

From	Select the date you want to search from.
To	Select the date you want to search to.
TTO Dispense Chart	Select a chart. You can view the dispense duration for TTO medications by day of the week, date, month, or hour.
TTO Dispense Group	Select a group. You can view a count, the average duration, median duration, maximum duration, or minimum duration.

It includes key information on the selection, prescribing, dispensing, and administration of medicines. Medicines generally prescribed in the UK are covered and those considered less suitable for prescribing are clearly identified. class of medications you want to search for.
Unlicensed use	Select if the medications were prescribed for an unlicensed use.
Prepared Not Given	Select if the medications have been prepared, but not given.
Prepared and Expired	Select if the medications have been prepared, and they are now expired. A medication becomes expired when the prepared dose has not been given and the next dose is due.
