Nervecentre V9.0 Help for Users
Pharmacy reporting
If you have access to Pharmacy > Search, you can view and build reports of a range of information about EPMA across your organisation, which can be useful for audit purposes.
For example, you can build reports showing:

Prescriptions for opioids
-
Prescriber alerts
-
Medications prescribed for an unlicensed use
-
Missed doses
-
Reconciled medications
You can group rows, and filter the data returned by your search.

Depending on your permissions, you can view information and create reports from Back office > Search. For example, from the audit log, you can view who has overridden the prescribe form. This event is called Prescribe allergy form override.

Overview of Pharmacy > Search
From Pharmacy > Search, you can view and build reports of a range of information about EPMA across your organisation, which can be useful for audit purposes.

Select a search parameter. This parameter changes the search criteria available. |

Search criteria for pharmacy reports
Below is a list of search parameters, and the search criteria available for each of those parameters.

Current prescriptions
You can search for current prescriptions. Your search returns a table of data.

Enter a patient's hospital number A number given to the patient when they are registered at the hospital. A patient might have multiple hospital numbers. to search for that patient's prescriptions. |

Drug Class |
Select a BNF British National Formulary. The BNF aims to provide prescribers, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals with sound up-to-date information about the use of medicines. It includes key information on the selection, prescribing, dispensing, and administration of medicines. Medicines generally prescribed in the UK are covered and those considered less suitable for prescribing are clearly identified. class of medications you want to search for. |

Unlicensed use |
Select if the medications were prescribed for an unlicensed use. |
|
Prepared Not Given |
Select if the medications have been prepared, but not given. |
|
Prepared and Expired |
Select if the medications have been prepared, and they are now expired. A medication becomes expired when the prepared dose has not been given and the next dose is due. |
Chart all prescriptions
You can search all prescriptions in Nervecentre. Your search returns a table and a customisable chart.
