Nervecentre V8.1 Help for Users
Viewing problems related to e-RS
Nervecentre shares appointment slots for bookable services with e-RS Electronic Referral Service. Used by GPs/patients to book initial appointments with specialists at a convenient time. This would replace the current system where a referral is made to the specialist who then sends out a letter with an appointment – if the patient can’t attend that appointment they’ll have to call back and rearrange.. When a GP refers a patient to a bookable service, the GP can view that service's appointment slots and book the patient an appointment. This process is called direct booking.
Nervecentre and e-RS send messages between each other about bookable services. Sometimes the messages between Nervecentre and e-RS are lost, corrupted, or incomplete. For example, due to a network error. Nervecentre might need you to manually confirm if specific information is present in e-RS.
From Back office > E-RS > E-RS Problems, you can view a list of events relating to e-RS that Nervecentre is not sure about. You can view information about each event and compare that with what you can see in e-RS. You can then confirm if Nervecentre has the correct information.
