Nervecentre V8.1 Help for Users
About patient photo ID
Nervecentre allows you to take and show a patient photo, for the purpose of patient identification. For example, you can photo the patient on arrival and add the photo to the patient’s record. On a desktop, the photo appears in the patient banner. On a mobile, the photo appears when you view the patient's record.
This is particularly powerful for potential absconders from an Emergency Department (ED) who are at risk of harm, or for patients with dementia who are at risk of leaving ward areas unattended.
You must obtain patient consent before adding the photo to a patient’s record.
