Adding an internal referral for pre-op
pre-op referral, pre op referral, preop referral
You can add an internal referral for pre-op from Procedures, or Patient admin > Show pathways > Procedures. For example, you can refer a patient to a pre-op assessment service, and they can review your request.
Adding an internal referral for pre-op on a mobile
You can't do this on a mobile.

From Inpatients, Outpatients, or Theatres > Patient Detail, search for a patient.

From Patient Detail, select Patient admin > Show pathways > Procedures.

Select a procedure.

Select Add Internal Referral.

Select the type of referral you want to add.
For example, a pre-op assessment request.

Complete the form, including all mandatory fields.
Mandatory fields are marked .

Select Submit Referral.

Double-click on a procedure.

Mouseover Referrals and select +.

Select the type of referral you want to add.
