Printing a patient's wristband
From Patient Detail, you can print a patient's wristband. Wristbands include the patient's details and a QR code you can scan to open the patient's record.
Printing a patient's wristband on a mobile
You can't do this on a mobile.
Printing a patient's wristband on a desktop
Printing a wristband from Inpatients > Patient Detail > Clinical

From Inpatients > Patient List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail > Clinical, select .

Optional: to choose a default printer, select Choose Default and select an option.

To open the document as a PDF file on your PC, select Open on PC.

To print from a printer in your current ward, select Current Ward.

To print from the default printer for the ward, select Default Printer for Area.

To print from a specific printer in the ward, select a printer.

To print from a specific printer on a specific ward, select By Ward, then select a ward and a printer.

To print from a specific printer that is not linked to a ward, select Other printers, and select a printer.

Select the type of wristband you want to print.
If your default printer is Open on PC, a PDF file opens. Print the PDF file.
If your default printer is a printer in the hospital, when the wristband is printed, Nervecentre tells you which printer was used.
Printing a wristband from Patient Detail > Patient admin

Open the patient's record.

From Inpatients, select Patient List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail.

From Outpatients, select Clinic List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail.

From Patient admin > Demographics, select Print wristband and label.
