Adding and viewing notes on results for outpatients

1. From  Outpatients > Clinic List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail, select Investigations.

2. Select .

   Read more about the order summary

3. Select an order to view the result.

4. To add or view notes:

   • For the full result:

     1. From the blue header bar, select .

     2. Enter notes as free text.

     3. Select Add.

   • To an individual result:

     1. Select  or  next to the result.

        Individual results with existing notes show .

     2. Enter notes as free text.

5. To close the information pane, mouseover between the panes and select .

1. From  Outpatients > Clinic List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail, select Investigations.

2. Select R.

3. Select the result row and cell you want to add a note to.

4. Select Notes.

5. Enter notes as free text.

6. Select Add.

7. Select  to view notes.

You can strike out notes for an order, or for individual results from the order summary.

1. From  Outpatients > Clinic List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail, select Investigations.

4. Strike out the note.

   • To strike out a note for the full result, select  from the bottom of the order.

   • To strike out a note on an individual result, select , find the note, and select .

5. To close the information pane, mouseover between the panes and select .

You can only strike out notes on individual results from the result summary.
