Nervecentre V8.1 Help for Users
Cancelling a dispense request
You can cancel a dispense request. For example, you might want to cancel a dispense request when:
-
The prescription has incorrect information
-
The patient decides they want their prescription dispensed by another method
-
You decide the patient needs a different prescription
You can’t cancel a request after the medication is dispensed.

For example:
-
You print a prescription form, or FP10
You don't give the form to the patient because you notice it has incorrect information. You cancel the dispense request and destroy the prescription form you printed.
-
You send a request to the hospital pharmacy to dispense a medication
Your patient decides they want a prescription form instead. The hospital pharmacy has not dispensed the medication yet. You cancel the dispense request.
Cancelling a dispense request on a mobile
You can't do this on a mobile.
