About Investigations

You can view and work with investigations, also known as order comms, from several locations within Nervecentre on mobile or desktop. It includes sample collections and results.

Some features are only available on desktop.

About investigations on a mobile

  1. To open orders, select a patient from Patients or scan the patient's wristband.

  2. Scroll to Investigations and select Orders.

About investigations on a desktop

You can view and work with investigations in several places:

  • From Patient Detail > Investigations.

  • From All Investigations, with a smart list or ward list.

  • View a summary of investigations from Patient Detail > Clinical.

To open Investigations, select > Clinical pages > select a patient > Patient Detail > Investigations.

Select to view a summary of orders.

Start typing to filter the list.

Filter the list by time period.

View a summary of information. The information you see depends on the area you are in, for example, a summary of orders, or a summary of results.

  1. From > Clinical pages > select a patient > Patient Detail, select Clinical.

  2. Find the summary box labelled Investigations.

  3. To view results on graphs, select .

  4. Select Results to open investigations.
