Nervecentre V8.1 Help for Users
About 3 in 1 behaviour
Some observation models calculate an Early Warning Score (EWS) for each observation, and a combined EWS for the observation model.
If you record an observation that results in an EWS of 3, that is a '3 in 1' because the EWS is three in a single observation field. For example, if you record a patient's temperature, and it results in an EWS of 3.
Depending on your organisation, a '3 in 1' can trigger specific actions in Nervecentre. For example, escalations to specific roles, or tasks for sepsis screening.
