Cancelling orders
Depending on your organisation and third-party software, for example, your pathology software, you can cancel orders that have not been completed or collected.
Cancelling orders on a mobile

From your patient list, select a patient.

From Investigations, select Orders.

Select an order.

Select to delete the order.
If is not displayed, you can't cancel the order.

Enter a reason for cancelling the order.

Select Confirm.
The order shows as Cancelled.
Cancelling orders on a desktop

From Inpatients > Patient List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail, select Investigations.

To cancel an order, select .

Select the order you want to cancel.

Select to cancel the order.
If is unavailable, you can't cancel the order.

Enter a reason for cancelling the order.

Select Confirm.

To close the information pane, mouseover between the panes and select .
The order status updates to Cancelled.
